Yesterday, these beautiful humans drove 87 boxes of aid, 2 sewing machines, 3 walking sticks, 11 duvets, and 2 large bags of peg feeding tubes and formula, up to Edinburgh Direct Aid today where it will be put on a container, then head out to provide much needed relief in the Arsal camp on the Lebanese/Syrian border.
These boxes were full of items donated by the amazing people of Dumfries and Galloway, packed with care, then loaded up, by our trusty volunteers. Love in action right here folks!
It’s nice to know what happens once your donations have left your house, so Jane and Malcolm will be sharing their experience as Guest Bloggers later in the month, so keep your eyes peeled for their post!
Don’t forget, if you want to donate, our depot is open Monday and Friday 9.30 to 12.30. Full details on our Facebook Page.
David at EDA with your donated goods.
